Expect to learn in my Childbirth Education classes:

  • Pregnancy comforts, recipes, and nutritional advice.

  • Positions and exercises that optimize the position of the baby. Let's get baby comfy for birth!

  • Stages of labor, what to expect, and how to time contractions.

  • Dispelling fears and common misconceptions.

  • Effective use of vocalization for pain relief.

  • Practice of deep relaxation for stress relief and ease during labor.

  • Birth plan writing.

  • Questions to ask when choosing a health care provider committed to meeting your needs.

  • Positions and massage techniques to use during labor.

  • Supplies to gather for your comfort in labor.

  • Familiarize yourself with common obstetric interventions.

  • A thoughtful method of decision making during a stressful time.

  • Formulating plans for your postpartum period.

Things to take note of:

  • Minimal homework is assigned per session. 

  • We will be planning a class reunion for after the babies are born (-:

  • Class materials and supplies are included in the fee.

How much does your Childbirth Education group class series cost?

$360 per couple (the pregnant woman and her support person)

Options for Childbirth Education Class Structures:


Childbirth Education Full Class

8 sessions, 2.5 hrs each session


Childbirth Education Spanning your Pregnancy

Session 1: Early Pregnancy/ 1st Trimester (0-12 weeks gestation)
Sessions 2 & 3: 2nd Trimester (12-28 weeks gestation)
Sessions 4 - 8: 3rd Trimester (28-40 weeks gestation)


Childbirth Education Intensive Class

One long weekend: Friday night 6:30 - 9 pm, followed by Saturday and Sunday 10 am - 4 pm

Childbirth Education Online Class

Same hours and duration of any of the classes.
